Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MyBoatBuild apps and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using the Service on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf.

The Service

MyBoatBuild lets custom boat builders share build progress — photos, videos, milestones, messages, documents, and change orders — with the customers they invite.

Accounts

  • Builder accounts are provisioned by MyBoatBuild for the boat shop. The shop is responsible for its staff’s use of the Service.
  • Customer and viewer accounts are created by invitation from a builder. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

  • Uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Attempting to access builds or accounts you’re not authorized to access.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its security.

Content and ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant MyBoatBuild a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and the people authorized to view a build. Builders are responsible for the content they post and for having the rights to share it with their customers.

Billing

MyBoatBuild is a paid service for builders, arranged directly with us; pricing and terms are set out in your agreement. The Service is free for invited customers and viewers — there is nothing to purchase inside the app.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or to protect the Service.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBoatBuild is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
